I've got "Wanted" on DVD from the Library, hoping to watch it one of these evenings. Also recently saw "Yes Man", enjoyed it and has a story that "self improvement" folks can relate to.

The Wrestler. Nice Bruce Springsteen song on the closing credits.

"He's Just Not that Into You". I went with a friend to the mall to get my phone fixed, and we ended up watching a movie and getting some ice cream. Pretty fun time.

I recently got the Sense and Sensibility/Miss Austen Regrets/Persuasion DVD pack on sale at Amazon and really enjoyed all 3. (I suppose technically that's last 3 movies I saw, but they came together. )

These are the new films by BBC - not the Emma Thompson/Kate Winslet and Amanda Root/Ciaran Hinds ones. While I see a lot of influence from the Emma Thompson version, the new S&S is very well done, with more detail from the book as it is longer. Persuasion was also very well done and not as awkward as the original (which I still like). Miss Austen Regrets was a little depressing but still entertaining.

I've been thinking of going to see Gran Torino, but going to the theater is so expensive it doesn't seem worth it. I guess a lot of things are like that.

"Taken."

And it was REALLY, REALLY cool. It's definitely a must see. I liked it a lot.
