@flipchick1127 - NYC used to have a $3 or was it $5 theatre. They are all gone now. I think I recently found out there was one in Queens, will have to look into it soon.

I watched WANTED and Shoot 'Em Up on DVD recently. Both seem like Live Action Video games. It was mindless fun.

Hoping to catch Taken soon, heard so many good things about it.

Default last movie I watched...

I watched an Agatha Christie movie starring David Suchet as Hercule Poirot. I watched on YouTube. You just search "Poirot" and then click on "Poirotfilms", there are a lot of Poirot and Miss Marple movies there. I just love them.

I caught Taken, He's like an older Jason Bourne LOL.

@Debb - It's amazing what you can find on YouTube!

I've got a couple of older movies waiting for me at the library today

"Nick and Nora"

I thought it was good. My husband and I were thrown back to our favorite 80's movies while watching this. It was much the same feel as Pretty in Pink or Say Anything (the list goes on)

Ghost town - well technically I am only half way through the movie because I ran out of time but so far so good!

Default Watching too many movies

I've probably been watching too many movies lately.

Caught Journey to the Center of the Earth on DVD and Max Payne.
Both were OK, not great, but not a total waste of time.

Slumdog Millionaire was also the last movie I saw on big screen. It was fun and I know it won a lot of awards.

I saw Watchmen over the weekend. I thought it was a very good movie, but I'm also a fan of the graphic novel. It was very graphic in many ways in many different parts. Some people I know were really turned off by this. Those people weren't familiar with the source material and, apparently, didn't know exactly what they were getting into.
This is not a fun, feel good, exciting super hero movie. But I did think it was very well done and, for the most part, really enjoyed it.
