You guys are too funny!

I'm not into sci-fi or fantasy myself, so that has turned into "Dad and the girls" special thing - they read the books, watch the television shows, and have their own private little conversations that I am delighted to not understand at all!

My 10-yo daughter likes to watch stuff on SciFi with DH; 12-yo son not so much. He's got excrutiatingly narrow tastes. Right now the only TV show he likes to watch is The Office, and in the movie department it's mostly documentaries, violin master classes, etc. Though the other day I asked him if he wanted to watch American Idol with us, and he said "ewww, no" and then proceeded to park himself on the couch and watch the whole episode.

I STILL remember my Wonder Woman underoos. I felt so awesome when I wore them.

(And I find it amusing that I'm reading this thread while watching Stargate. I am a proud geek raised by geeks. I admit it.)
