Anyone who would recommend or prefer a long distance relationship, especially to just avoid financial strain, shouldn't be in a relationship to begin with.

With that being said, I prefer long distance relationships and completely agree with My Open Wallet.

WOW I can tell you have never been "challenged" by the universal question of what to do with a man you love who just can't seem to take care of his business. In hindsigt I could be callous and just say he was a user - tried that and it just made me feel bad about ME and didn't change history one bit. Without trashing him or telling my dirty laundry here on the web I have had to toughen up and realize that anyone who needs my financial help can't whole heartedly be in the relationship because he loves ME. You can't ever really know that it's love if there is a financial benefit in staying with someone.
