Hi,

Long-time reader, first time poster. I found this site months ago looking for ways to save money. Being efficient with my money (read: cheap) is a hobby for me, I don't see the need to spend more than I have to on something and my wife appears able to pull deals out of thin air (a match made in heaven).

A lot of articles on this site have given me inspiration and the motivation to stick to my budget and I thought I'd finally drop by and say thanks.

I just found the forum and website, I too am a frugal man... maybe too frugal according to my kids. I don't know how or when it happened but it did.

I'm a graphic designer, self employed and hvac freelancer.
Other than finding ways to not spend money or spend as little as possible I spend my free time BBQn, coaching youth hockey and bicycling.

Hi! I found this forum while doing a search on Google. Seems to get a lot of traffic and discussions, and I like it!

My newest hobby is scuba diving. Anyone else scuba?

I've only scuba'ed (sp?) a few times in my life, and those were during a scuba unit of PE at my high school. I've considered giving it a try, but the cost is a pretty big turn-off.

Anyways, I was on the computer checking my finances one when a freind directed me towards the site. I've been hooked ever since, tons of great articles.
