Hello all! I've been reading Wise Bread for awhile, but I just joined the forums. I'm Nicole, I'm 32, and I live in northeastern Indiana with my husband and my cat. Currently I'm unemployed (laid off, looking for office/clerical work) and studying for a medical billing/coding certificate online. I'm also volunteering, donating plasma, and planning on setting up an Etsy shop to sell my handmade crafty items.

I love reading about and discussing frugal/simple living and have been reading books/blogs/sites for quite some time, but *especially* now since DH and I are living on one income! (my unemployment ended this past May) Always looking for new and exciting tips. Nice to meet you all!

Hey there! My name is Tim. I used to blog about personal finances but I let my then-girlfriend persuade me to stop spending time on it...

Dumbest idea ever.

Anyway, that's how I learned about WiseBread and I still visit the site quite often.

Hi everybody,

I found Wise Bread just a few days ago. I was using Google and a few other methods, searching for some format ideas to inventory and host an "estate sale" for all the antiques/etc. that I recently transported from the midwest back to my home (Colorado).

Somehow I ended up here. I am always busy with projects and always invent my own way of building things myself using alternative materials that are typically sold for a different purpose than I use them for. It always saves lots of money and it is fun to try and do it with little financial investment.

I am happy I ended up here. I love creative people and it appears these forums are "full" of em'...great place!!!
