Actually, a lot of my friends in Commonwealth countries *do* like thier Weetabix with yogurt. Unfortunately, US yogurt is totally different than UK yogurt, so it's not quite the same effect here. I like to put vanilla soymilk on mine.

It can be a bit tough to find; usually health food stores stock it. It comes in cakes that you crumble up for loose cereal. A lot of people compare it to shredded wheat, but it's really more like the "bran" in Raisin Bran. You really have to try it to get it. It's also really good whole, with butter and jam.

I love TJ's flattened bananas! And they're gone from my store. That was a sad, sad day.

It has milk in it. It's NOT good for you.

They make a soy version too.

How do you make yogurt out of soy?

I love hummus. I used to think it was just hippie food, but I discovered how good it is with all kinds of healthy stuff to dip. We get Sabra brand in different flavors from the grocery store: greek olive, red pepper, garlic, pine nut, habanero. One day I intend to branch out and make my own from scratch. Sabra is good, but I think homemade would be even better.

Hummus is great on bagel chips. Also olive tapenade, which is readily available at your local megamart.

I LOVE craisens (sp?). If they are bad, then please don't tell me, because I have myself they are good for me I know they have sugar in them because they are sweet, but I would think that they would still be better for me than some of the junk I could be eating. I also keep veggies (even frozen veggies work) on hand and dump some (extra) into ANY food that I make.

I think craisins (think cranberry-raisins... crai-sins ) are good for you as long as it isn't too sweet.

Here's a recipe for sugar-free craisins!
