Reputation: | I'm a huge fan of true crime novels myself. I was a criminal justice major in college. Does anyone else who reads true crime have any suggestions as to some new reading material? I really like Ann Rule's writing style, by the way. |

Reputation: | I liked, The Executioner's Song by Norman Mailer, Helter Skelter, by Vincent Bugliosi, and In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. I have read a few others but these are the only ones that stick in my mind. Maybe The Onion Field, also by Vincent Bugliosi, but I would read helter Skelter first. I guess none of them are in the traditional true crime format, but they were all very well written. |

Reputation: | My favorite true crime novel is Bully. Hilarious... in a way. The movie was great too. |
