Reputation: | I totally missed out on TV between 2001 and 2008 but thanks to Hulu, I can now play this game. Shows that I would've loved to see more of: Like many of the above -

Reputation: | Anyone remember Brimbstone? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brimstone_(TV_series) I thought this show was sheer genius and was seriously upset when it was cancelled before finishing it's first season |

Reputation: | Brimstone was awesome. Lately it seems that I am drawn to shows that fail commercially or are cancelled for some reason. Right now my list is Firefly, Arrested Development, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me(I just rented both seasons, and I got a little sad when I watched the last episode Respectfully, Kevin

I think later episodes just suffered from mediocre writing and lack of direction. The first season was fantastic, and really drew you in. The second season was, well...not so much. After that they have been changing writers left and right, and IMO it feels like they are trying to rewrite the "history" that was established in season two. That never works. The newest episodes weren't horrible, ut I just couldn't get stuck in...I'll try again eventually. I would suggest sitting down with the first season, though-I think you may have a different experience than the one you're having. If I can give a mention to a show that isn't cancelled, I recently started watching Eureka on Hulu-I'm loving it. I'm really suprised I wasn't already watching it. Respectfully, Kevin

| Junior Member | Twin Peaks!!! I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet. That show is so fabulously dark and eerie. It's one of my all-time favorites. I remember watching a few episodes when it originally aired with my dad back when I was a sophomore in high school. Now I have the entire series on DVD and can watch it and all the extras whenever I want... :-) There are shows that I'm planning to watch on DVD via Netflix (that I never got around to watching when they were actually on), such as Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls, etc. I've heard that these shows ended before their time, so I'll be the judge of that after I watch them... :-P |

Reputation: | I just recently found out that one of my new favorites, Life, got canceled. Also, another good one I recently discovered, Jericho.

Reputation: | Pushing Daisies! My husband and I absolutely loved that show...but alas...it was a victim of the writer's strike last year. It was such a unique and different show, and very cute. I had also watched a show called "Invasion" that was on for a while. It was about aliens that came during a hurricane and changed some people. It ended very abruptly. One thing that I think is terribly annoying is when they end a show so quickly that there's never any closure! Full House could have gone on forever and ever, I think. And The A Team, and Sea Quest |
