Solinvicta - I'm having a hard time getting through it. I think there's a lot of good information, so I'm finding I have to take frequent breaks from reading to fully digest it all. My plan was to read 1 personal finance book a month this year, and that is my January book! And I'm still not finished!

But you're right. It is very good. It's just so in depth, it's not a fast read.

Time Management From the Inside Out by Julie Morgenstern. It's easy to read and lays out a basic system for (obviously) managing one's time in a more effective manner. Overall, it's supposed to help you define your priorities and fit in activities that you need to do to achieve those priorities.

Obviously, I haven't put the system into effect yet

I'm currently reading "Persuasion" by Jane Austen. (We also just watched the movie last night - we're big Jane Austen fans here. )

I just finished re-reading the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella a few days ago, which I've reviewed a couple of weeks ago on my blog in a post titled: "Shopaholic" Books: Entertaining Lessons on Financial "Don'ts"

@ Hermione- I just started Persuasion again yesterday. Which movie version did you see? I'm also reading Irrationality by Stuart Sutherland and Atonement by Ian McEwan.

Hi Looby,

We have the Amanda Root & Ciarán Hinds version. We got the DVD last month (Amazon lowered their prices and we snapped it up for $10.49 along with Sense and Sensibility with Kate Winslet & Emma Thompson for $6.99) and have already watched it several times. We've been on a Jane Austen book and movie binge for the last couple of months.

Just finished Company Man by Joseph Finder, To the Edge by Cindy Gerard and 74 Seaside Avenue by Debbie Macomber. All were excellent.

Now reading Acts of Violets by Kate Collins.

I am reading: Trace Your Roots with DNA by Megan Smolenyak ...if you are not into genealogy it is a dry read, but for those of us interested in genealogy it is worth it.
