I just finished the Otherland series by Tad Williams. Great read for anyone into sci-fi and cyberpunk. Before that I read The Total Money Makeover, which I really enjoyed.

Last night I finished, "The Wealthy Barber". Had heard great things about it for a long time, and decided to check it out.

It's extremely easy reading, and mostly basics, but I did learn a few things.

Only downside is it's kinda old(1980s I believe), so some of the stuff it talks about have changed, but still cool to learn about how it once was.

Tonight I'm going to start, "The mathematician plays the stockmarket". I believe that's what it's called.

I just finished "The Ghost" by Robert Harris, which was pretty good. It's about a ghost writer hired to write the memoirs of an ex-British PM (fictitious of course).

He wrote another book called "Enigma" about British code breakers trying to break the German U-boot codes during WWII. That one was really good too, and was what led me to read "The Ghost".

I am now trying to read "Physik", book 3 of the Septimus Heap books by Angie Sage. It's a children's series, and doesn't come close to the quality of the Harry Potter books, but I'm curious about what happens, having read books 1 and 2 a couple of years ago.

I've just stumbled across a series about Miss Julia...she Speaks Her Mind, Meets Her Match, and many other titles. I fell across them at the library and they're perfect for me, sort of a cross between a murder mystery and a Jane Austin. (Oh, that doesn't sound right at all.) Some light reading for before bed, though I have a hard time putting them down.

Here's the Amazon list.

Hermione, they made me think of something you might like.

I just started reading The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler. I'm like 4 pages in (sneaking a few paragraphs at a time between things) but I think I'm going to like it, since I like Jane Austen. I'd like to see the movie after reading the book (Hugh Dancy! )
