I read Loving Frank when it first came out, and now several friends have picked it up. As the story of Frank Lloyd Wright's second marriage, it's fascinating, giving a well-blended picture of both the man and the architect. BUT, the ending is an absolute stunner... If I'd read it in a novel, I'd have thought it over-wrought and contrived...

I just got a bunch of books for my birthday - I'm starting with Collapse by Jared Diamond and The Ethics of What We Eat.

I am reading "Mean Girls Grown Up" by Cheryl Dellasega. I think that it is a great book for any woman to learn about relational aggression at work or within family dynamics. A must-read!

I always forget to add some in here until I see the thread pop back up.

Now on "The Hungry Ocean" and "Snow Falling on Cedars".

haha, yeah, me too! I have been reading about 2 books a week for the past couple of months because I haven't been in school and work is slow, and I always forget, too, but this book is particularly interesting!

Oh, yeah, and I finished it now I am reading Bullies, Tyrants and Impossible People.

I know this thread is "What are you currently reading," but it always pops back up when I've just finished reading something. Anyways, I just finished "In Her Shoes" last by Jennifer Weiner last night. It was surprisingly good. I never saw the movie and am not sure I want to because I liked the book so much I don't want the movie version to ruin it for me.

I loved that book and I was reluctant to see the movie because of it, but they did a really good job I thought. I liked her book Good in Bed even more than In Her Shoes however.
