Reputation: | I saw a "pizza stand" while walking in midtown Manhattan (NYC) yesterday, they were selling slices of plain cheese pizza for only 99 cents! I couldn't believe it. So now I'm wondering what other goodies out there can be had for a dollar! Share your finds!! : |

Reputation: | Can't say I'm that impressed with pizza being sold for $1 a slice. You could buy a paperclip for less than a dollar, then trade you can trade it over and over again until you get a house. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_red_paperclip |

Reputation: | I was really surprised recently by this one which I'd expected to be a lot more - a sundae from McDonald's! My fave is chocolate fudge with nuts. Mmmm... Also a hamburger from McDonald's ($0.89 in our town) and it looks like they've brought back the 4 Pc. Chicken McNuggets for $1.

Reputation: | Here for $1 each I can get: 2 liter of Coke 1 loaf French bread 1 pound apples or nectarines 1 bag pork rinds 1 package hot dogs 1 bell pepper Isn't it just a crime that crappy, unhealthy food like chips and pork rinds are so cheap and healthy foods are ridiculously expensive? No wonder there's an obesity epidemic! |
