Moneymatters-that's awesome, I wish that I had lived here during those golden years! We did buy a house close to the light rail so we can go to as many games as we can buy cheap seats for! My friend's dad also has season tix 2 rows back from 1B and that is an awesome perspective. Did you hear about Johan? That stinks. I hope that we get some better pitchers. Some of the younger ones are coming around though.

Looby-I had a friend in college that was trying to recruit me for the women's rugby team. Her constant black eyes didn't help the cause.

Megan-YEAH!! Free tickets, and get paid to go to away games! People just don't know. Inner tube water polo sounds like a sport I would like

72Tiger-Hmmm...I wonder what team that could be? No, I have quite a few friends that either went to Rhodes or Memphis, so I know they are all rooting for them, too.

I guess I particularly didn't like Kenyon because he was on Cincy, too. I love it when Xavier beats Cincy, just because Cincinnati always thinks they are SOO much better. Too bad their athletes can read or write My son's name is Xavier...coincidence?

I used to play football and ride horses in my youth, on top of biking, hiking, swimming, etc. Its hard to not be active living in New England. I'm good at basketball but never liked the game.

I like to watch ice skating, baseball and football. I also get suckered into watching the X Games or snowboarding alot.

Yeah, i heard about Johan, i was pretty depressed. It seems like Minnesota is where we develop great players like johan, kevin garnett, randy moss, etc - and then trade them away for a song. All of the players we got for johan (two time cy young winner by the way) are prospects, and may or may not ever pan out. Oh well - its only a game, right? I'll keep holding onto those glory years of 1987 and 1991.

though I was so annoyed growing up when my dad and bro were married to football every Sunday and Monday, I have to admit. It's the most exciting sport.

My dad is a Xavier Alum, so I got an early indoctrination against the 'evils' of UC. The Muskateers are one of the other teams I follow.

I enjoy watching basketball and I'm now getting into a little football. Hwever, my favorite sport is most popular sport in the world, soccer (or football as it is called outside the US). I do enjoy a bit of cricket as well.

I'm a lifelong baseball fan (and purist), but I must admit that I've become rather disillusioned with it: the steroids, the bloated salaries, the bloated egos, the players union, etc., etc. It's becoming a big bummer rather than the lighthearted fun I look forward to every spring. I also watch and enjoy football which probably has something to do with the fact that I was born on a Super Bowl Sunday.
