It continues to rise. Yesterday morning the QT near my house was $3.25, by 5PM the price jumped to $3.29.

I heard a story on CNN this morning where a station accidentally typed in .35 rather than 3.35. People from 9AM - 6PM were filling up at .35 a gallon. The station took about a $1,500 hit. Which is stinks for the independent station owner.

One place in Southern California is selling for $5.32/gal but fortunately I didn't have to stop there, but its getting close to $4/gal everywhere else. And to think when I was a teenager I could fill up my car for less than $3.00 and go joy riding all night.

I said 3.82 on this thread, and today it's 3.78 at the cheapest station. I think the 3.82 record will be broken.

I paid $3.77 the other day to drive to the airport (LAX). Roundtrip was about 250 miles (ouch!) But it was to pick up my cousin who's visiting from Taiwan for 3 months so it was totally worth it and we're having a blast.

Default The price is absurd...

I paid $4.07 in downtown San Francisco. This is why I carpool with my friends to work every day.
