Angry Whats the highest you have paid for gasoline?

Today I had to fill-up my car and have paid the most for a gallon of regular unleaded. My price was $3.23 per gallon.

What is the highest you have paid for a gallon?

Here is a web-site I visit before buying gas to see the prices in my area.

The following link is a national site for gas prices.

We don't go out very often now that we work at home, shop for groceries once a month and consolidate and keep our errand runs to a minimum, so the last time we bought gas was several months ago. I can't quite recall how much it was, but I think it was in the $3.29 range.

Prices are currently $3.49 and $3.55 at the 2 gas stations here. Quite ridiculous.

But we only buy gas about 3 times a year now so it's manageable for us.

I just posted an article on my blog today on saving money by consolidating errands and going out as little as possible titled "Home is Where the Money Is" in case anyone is looking for some tips.

I only drive when I visit my parents in the UK, so I checked online and currently they are paying £1.07/litre of petrol, which works out at about $8.56/gallon (if my math hasn't failed me entirely). Hope that might cheer you up a little!

I think we're at about $3.54 in Southern Oregon.

$3.01 here. I think I could've still gotten gas at $2.99 if I'd shopped around but it didn't seem worth it.

I paid $3.05 at Sams last night. Most of the other stations are around $3.15 currently. I was in Atlanta last weekend and gas was around $3.15-$3.20 most of the places I saw. I think I paid $3.17 to fill up the rental car before I returned it at the airport.

We paid $2.99 last weekend, but the average cost was $3.02-3.05. Thinking about renewing the BJs membership which is normally .10/gal cheaper. We only run errands once a week and in the least driving possible, but have to commute to work.

I live in Chicago and now its pretty much a consistent $3.50 a gallon. It will be 4.00 by May no doubt. Oil might be 150 bucks a barrel this summer. This will cause the economy to go into a recession.
