Default whats your 4th July plans?

4th of July is coming up and I really want to do something different with me and my kids...BBQ and go see fireworks is one thing but what else?

July 4th parades can be fun. They usually involve candy for the kids, so it's pretty easy to keep their attention.

We always go to the local parade. It is a lot of fun to watch, then there are festivities at the park afterwards. It takes up pretty much the whole day and my kids love it.
