2 off the top of my head that I like. First one I believe is a saying from Texas. But I read both these from books so yay Why do I like them? Well... isn't it obvious? :P. I guess thinking about them help bring me back to a good mindset. Helps give me perspective when I start to lose my patience, or get a little full of myself. | ||

Reputation: | I love most of Terry Pratchett's writing, but my favorite quote is this one: "Sometimes you have to stand and fight, if only because there is nowhere left to run." Alas, I can't recall what book it was from... |

Reputation: | "Thomas Jefferson survives." John Adams vowed to stay alive until the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. At the age of 92 on his death bed he uttered the words "Thomas Jefferson still survives". Adams died on July 4, 1826. Adams died at his home in Quincy MA and Jefferson died at Monticello earlier that day. Both on the 50th anniversary of the signing. From "John Adams" by David McCullough. Reputation: | It would have to from The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. It goes: "In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death." Truly amazing for someone that young to come up with something that deep
