Reputation: | Does anyone actually use 43 physical manila folders as a tickler system? I've tried scheduling projects for the future in my calendar, but hate that I can't find that note later. Sometimes I want to add to it. I've also tried having a someday/maybe project list, but the problem with that is the list grows to be unmanageable when there are dozens and dozens of random ideas. My question to you GTD gurus -- Is the physical 43 folders the best way to go, or can I do the same thing digitally? |

Reputation: | I use a combination of Google Notebook, iGoogle, and Google Docs to keep all my GTD things in check. This strategy works well for me since I spend 99.9% of my time in front of my computer, so there's really no need for physical folders. |

Reputation: | When I tried GNotebook it was a little buggy and sometimes sluggish. Maybe it's better now but it didn't survive more than a couple weeks of use. |

Reputation: | A SmartPhone does the job. I have a symbian series 60 phone. (Nokia 6681)...and Its got everything to keep me sane. In built calender helps remember Appointments, Meetings and special occasions. There's other applications like Todo list, Notes, etc. So its Digital Ticker for me. I also use mobile version of 30 Boxes.

Can you sync your 6681 calendar and 30 boxes? When I had a E61, not being able to sync some shared Google Calendars with my own personal Nokia calendar was annoying. BTW, now that I've moved from the E60 series to a Treo.... my head-to-head verdict is Palm sucks, Nokias rule. | |

I just copy the important appintments/tasks to 30 Boxes too. So that, I can access it from anywhere throu Internet. But its the Mobile Version that cheers me up. Link here... 30 Boxes Mobile Quote:
By the way, if you have a GPRS connection, you can access everything, even Gcal on your mobile by using Opera Mini(I Love it). There's no need to sync. Quote:
