Default Has anyone implemented 4 hour workweek strategies?

I just finished reading the four hour work week and was wondering if anyone here has had any success with some of the strategies noted in the book?

hummm...sorry I have not heard of, nor read the book. But your reference did catch my eye.

I am surely missing something here...The only outcome I can imagine of a 4 hour work week stategy is either retirement or poverty, lol. Or, I suppose an info-mercial...

I've read the book and really got more out of it than expected. I'm in process of being self employed, Tim's book has made me aware of scalability and automation for a business. Also, has made me think, Why wait 40 years for retirement to do the things you really want to do.

I made the decision a long time ago that when I'm "old", I will have two choices. I will either be looking back at all of the things I experienced, enjoyed and accomplished....OR....
I will be looking back at a list of things that "I wished that I had done...or at least "tried".

I opted for the first scenario. I have been "rich" and "broke" many times, fortunately...more rich than broke...lol. It sounds a bit weird, but from my personal outlook...I'm an entrepreneur because of the adventure, not because of the money. Everyday is a match of my wits with whatever challenges present themselves. It is exhilarating and that makes life fun. When it is fun, I end up "making money" in the process. If it is not fun anymore, I find another opportunity that is. I always have a bigger list of opportunities I see, than I have time to explore.

It works for me. All I can suggest for anyone is...if you are building a list of things you will someday wish you had done...or tried, you should start turning that list into a "to do" list, starting tomorrow. You will not regret the experience, regardless of the outcome(s).
