Reputation: | Does anyone know of a site that reviews the more inexpensive vacuums? Ours is on the way out. I really can't sink $400 into a Dyson and since were planning on removing all the carpeting from our house in the next couple of years it does not make sense. I don't need much in the way of features. Just one with a Hepa filter and really good suction to get all the dog dander and such out of the carpets. I looked at Target and they had maybe 6-8 models that were under $100 but I really could not determine much beyond what kinds of bells & whistles each had. |

Reputation: | I bought mine 2 years ago on amazon for $69.. it was a refurb but brand name. let's just say that it's still "sucking" strong to this day! although one thing i don't like is the mobility factor, i would rather have something smaller but as strong. because thsi one takesa lot of space. I recommend you go through the amazon.com list pick one that matches your budget and have a look at the reviews. hope this helps |

Reputation: | I've actually found that vacuums aren't something you should skimp on. I've probably paid more, total, for a lot of cheap vacuums that have since broken down than I would have paid for one good, if expensive, one. |
