Reputation: | Noscript makes for safer browsing. fasterfox enhances web speeds. nuke anything enhanced allows for removing useless images etc from a site. greasemonkey is a great extension that allows for the easy tweaking of pages. leechblock is definitely a great productivity tool which limits the time spent on certain "addicting sites." there are others, just google top firefox extensions. |

Reputation: | I love Zotero. It is intended for doing online academic research. The best feature for me is that it allows one to instantly capture book citations from sites like Amazon or the Library of Congress. This is allowing me to catalog all of my books into a useful database. Not very Zen or frugal you may think. But it does allow me to stop buying duplicate copies of books! |
