I believe it really depends on both parties.

If the girl is understanding enough, it should not be a problem. The thing with dating is that the couple need to impress each other to keep up the interest. That is a difficult thing to do if you are frugal.

See, I disagree with this right here. The interest ought to come from mutual understanding and appreciation for each other, frugality aside.

I also like the sexist bullshit that's in this post. Women aren't the only ones who blow money, christ.

Regarding the "attractiveness" and/or "interest" in another person...

It is interesting to me how rarely you encounter the question...

"If this person had "no money", would I find them attractive?"

If the answer in your mind isn't "yes" early on, good luck, you will need it (or a miracle) later. Character is constant, money is not.
