Reputation: | I want to do well academically. Follow the "Do it Now" habit. And be fit. It not a one time goal but something that requires small effort everyday. Thats my 2008 Resolutions.

Reputation: | My goals are to open up a Roth IRA this calendar year, create a Christmas fund so there's no worrying next time the holidays roll around, and to continue being happy. I also love the idea of Gretchen Rubin's one-sentence journal, and I find myself journaling more than ever - even if it is on a computer instead of by hand. |

Reputation: | I have finally realized that I am over weight! Which would probably surprise a few friends of mine, however I never saw myself as having a bad weight problem until the end of this year. So my goal is to get fit and healthy and if things go according to plan by the end of 2008 I will have also lost weight. |

Reputation: | I read thru everyone's posts and most of the things I want to accomplish are the same. However... this year I want some different things than last year. I actually got my house de-cluttered after years of saying I was going to. (Hint: one room one area at a time) I don't have debt (no money either) any longer. I am still over weight, but you cant have everything! This year I want/resolve to work at least 120 days. Thats a lot for a script supervisor without a union project. I resolve to have a newer well-running vehicle. I resolve to have more comfort in my financial circumstances, being able to able to buy groceries and pay my bills on time. I resolve to spend more time, energy and effort in manifesting my needs. Kwilt2 |

Reputation: | Since posting yesterday I wrote my resolutions in my planner, put them on my calendar, emailed them to several friends and family. It is my intention that doing this will not only make me accountable but help in manifestation the resolutions. I read about this on Zen Habits. Kwilt2 Last edited by kwilt2 : 01-05-2008 at 01:27 PM. Reputation: | I have made about 10 resolutions, pretty much all of them are small, but one is to eradicate a bad habit. That should be the hardest, but oddly, most of these are going extremely well. Some have already started to become automatic. It all began with the Habits List from Productivity501, somehow that came at the right time, and since I always make my resolutions as soon as I think them up - instead of waiting for the new year, I actually began on december 27th or 28th. One of the surprising ones is that not only am I finally making the bed each morning after 57 years of slobhood, but I am starting to care about HOW I make the bed. This morning I did this automatically - never even realized I did the task until I was through. That habit list was the motivator I needed. |

Reputation: | 1. Own a guitar 2. Get an interesting job ^_^ Not much else! I mean, little things that you resolute throughout the year like "I need to use my cell phone less" or "I need to write better notes". But by the end of 2008, my two goals will be accomplished. And I do not care if I know how to PLAY the guitar. I simply must OWN one. XD |
