Cashcrate like above is a possibility.

Adsense works if you have a website.

You can even look for PPP (PayPerPost) alternatively if you have a website above 3 months old.

Default Additions and updates

One excellent site I forgot about, for news hounds, is Digital Journal. Higher than normal payrate for news writing.

Ciao has been mentioned, but they just announced that they will no longer be paying for reviews. They recently reduced payment from $1.00 to .25, and now are only offering a chance at some prizes, and the promise that they will eventually pay money already earned. Not likely.

Another popular review site, Shared Reviews has also gone to no-pay and contest prize mode.

I no longer recommend Triond, since my last try at using them showed that page view payments have been reduced.

If you enjoy blogging and are willing to settle for low upfront and possible growth in page view payments, you can try today.com. One dollar a day for one post of at least 100 words. Maximum of two blogs ($2.00 a day if you post to both), minimum payout is $50.00.

Warning: many PTC sites are scams or poorly financed. Probably the worst way to make money online.

A few survey sites pay well, but many have little to offer.

Amazon's Mechanical Turk (mturk.com)
The payout is pretty small, but the jobs are relatively easy. There are some more difficult tasks with higher payouts if you can spare the time or have the expertise.

You can try lightspeedpanel.com to fill out surveys and the like. Their payouts are larger than most survey sites I've tried with a smaller amount of work. You just can't always sign up. I've received a few gift certificates using the website.
