Wink from Suit...to Shirt...to SUIT

The Suit:
This is what I wore in my first job out of university. I paid for one, to look like I had more money than I actually did. After a decade of wearing a suit downtown, I got sick of it.

The Shirt:
This is what I wear today. I am an entrepreneur. I wear jeans every day with The Shirt. I make more money and I am happier than when I wore The Suit. The guy working for the bank sees me in my Shirt. I see him in his Suit. We both think little of each other, as we do business across the teller window.

The SUIT:
This is what I want to wear someday. It is the suit that Warren Buffet wears when he is being interviewed. It is what Bill Gates wears. It is what I will wear, after I sell my businesses, and after I have amassed my wealth, and give it all to charity.

Speaking from experience, the transition from "shirt" to "suit" (the wealthy version), particularly for an entrepreneur, requires the motivation and determination to weather several rich man/poor man cycles along the way. Being a good sport about the fluctuating respect and confidence you are given as your financial success booms and busts is an important part of the journey to reaching stability on the top rung.

You might want to consider buying one more "uniform" for your arsenal....a "Good Sport Coat"...lol
