Reputation: | Do you ever need gifts for young children? Could it be decorated to be a tooth fairy jar? Sounds about the right size to leave a tooth for the tooth fairy and then the tooth fairy could leave a few coins. |

Reputation: | We have some tiny jars about the same size as yours from a preserves/jam sample pack someone gave us a few years ago, though my use for them is a little less glamorous: I use them to hold baking soda when I brush my dog's teeth - we brush with baking soda, no chemicals for our precious doggy-woggies.

| Senior Member | I have to admit its been ages since I've made a tooth fairy box, but I do have at least a dozen various jars similar to that floating around with no use.

| Senior Member | You could play a game with the kids, we used to do this with match boxes but the jars would be fine too. Challenge the kids that whoever fits the most small objects in their jar is the winner. It's surprising what you find when you need to and it keeps them busy for a while :0) |
