Default Websites that change your life

I have been snooping the internets and have found SO many websites that change and will change how I live in the future. This cite is one of them. Another is

answers.yahoo.com -- awesome site for when you have a question and google is too strenuous to go through.

makeyourcosmetics.com -- has a lot of recipes to make your own stuff. I found it on this site.

mercola.com -- some people are against his all-natural ways, but he just made me THINK more about the life I am living. Things I thought were harmless could not be so.

Have I made my point? I am looking for great websites with new ideas for me to live with and use.

can I include yahoo mail? it was my first e-mail account and still use it. Apart from that, zenhabits.net is great, lifehack.org has an excellent selection of posts and thanks to bloglines I can check all the blogs I want without going crazy!

Live Journal

I've met sooo many friends through Live Journal, and indirectly met my fiance because of it.

I LOVE the community of it, being able to see into other people's lives, being able to talk with people, learn about each other, etc. It's fantastic. In addition, I have so many connections in the publishing world because of it, and with my aspirations to become an author, the support and friendships and inside info is fantastic. Plus, I get to hobnob with some of my favorite best-selling and new authors.

Google! Not just the search engine, but because of all of their other applications. I use Gmail to keep my email organized, my husband and I share a Google Calendar so we always know each other's work schedule and appointments and can access this information from any computer. I use Google Reader to keep track of all of the RSS feeds from blogs that I read. Google Analytics is the best for my website stats!

Color Schemer! It lets me easily find colours that go well together for designs, without having to read through lists of HEX codes.

Am I allowed to say my own site? Having my own blog about clutter has really helped me keep on track and on top of m*ahem* problem. ^_~

I would have never found half the internet sites I now regularly visit if it weren't for Metafilter and Ask Metafilter. Every day Metafilter has easily the most informative and interesting links and answers to questions I never knew I had. I think it costs $5.00 to join now, but I'm so glad I signed up way back when it was free to join.

I have a livejournal. Would you mind becoming my friend? If you send me your link, I'll make comments all the time! My livejournal is centered around my life as a new college student.

I agree with LiveJournal and must add MySpace. As annoying as the latter site can be, I have met some incredible people through there.

Also, this is kind of, sort of a site (not really), but Google Reader has cut down on my wasted Internet time so much. It's a much easier way for me to manage all the blogs I follow. My Bookmarks folder doesn't look so packed anymore either.
