I recently started using BillQ (http://www.mybillq.com/) to keep track of my bills. The main reason I started using it was because there is an Apple Dashboard widget that goes with it, so I can see which bills I haven't paid yet with just a quick look. I guess if you have roommates you can set it up so that it reminds everyone when bills are due.

I've started experimenting with RememberTheMilk a little bit. Right now I just am using it as a way to record things I think of while I"m at work, but it seems pretty feature-rich.

MacGourmet software on my laptop helps me organize recipes and print shopping lists.

MacJournal software for the occasions where I feel like writing a diary-type entry, and just to keep things I want to remember (like all the different sites I was checking for job postings).

iCal and Mail.app integrate nicely for me. Thunderbird + Lightning extension is good for PC'ers.

jdp are you from NE Ohio? You mentioned Marc's and I thought that was a pretty regional thing (AWESOME thing).

I'm currently trying to work on a hybrid system. I like the portability of a paper-based system, but I love the ability to manipulate data in the electronic version. I'm still in the starting phases (I've tried purely analog for a while but failed) so what I have is a little notebook and pad that I use as my capture tool. At the end of the day, I'm trying to faithfully organize the information into a personal wiki on my computer. Perhaps every morning, I'll print out the @Today list in my personal wiki. I'm still flushing out the system.

Giveaway of the Day featured the Evernote 3 Beta a few days ago so I'm trying that now. It is notetaking software that allows you to store notes both locally and on the Evernote server for access from anywhere. However, I think I'll stick to Google Notebook because Evernote 3 doesn't appear to work over a firewall yet. (It doesn't have a proxy setting.)
