Default What does the mind power actually mean????

Hi everyone, there are many questions that commonly arise when we discuss mind power, having influence and possibly control over things amd the ability to simply “make things happen”. Maybe these are all conceptual thoughts, and may be not. I do think about these things and it still puzzles me. What are your opinions on this and how do you perceive the power of mind???

Default So Many Things Begin With The Mind..

..read any modern Personal Growth book and there will be at least a chapter about the role of the mind. Before it is created in the physical world, it begins in the imagination of the mind.

Anthony Robbins devotes much of his work on various aspects the mind.

Napoleon Hill's book, Think And Grow Rich, is filled with chapter after chapter on the awesome power of the mind.

Even Trump's latest book is titled "Think Big and Kick A@@"

Cognition preceeds and determines behavior and action. I believe that the more responsibility you assume for what happens in your life, the more control you will feel in life.

I choose to believe that whatever happens to me in life is (to some degree) the result of some decision (small or large) that I made along the way, that influenced the outcome.

I believe life is not an illusion, it is all perception. You have a choice of being the designer of your life or the victim of your circumstances. Whatever course you follow and whatever you "are" or "become", will be determined by what thoughts you allow to reside in your mind. If you want to know your past, look at the position you are in today. If you want to know your future, observe what you are thinking and doing today.

You cannot control what happens in your life, but you can control how you react to it. I believe that attitude is the most powerful tool I have for influencing the quality of my life. No one can "make me" feel inferior or anything else, without my "permission". (decision to "accept" it)

I think the best example of the "power of the mind" can be seen in what some famous people have accomplished throughout history. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. How do some do so much more with that time? I believe it is a reflection of the "mindset" they choose.

Some people have purposes, others have wishes. The difference lies in your belief in yourself. "You are what you think".

The best I can describe my view on the "power of the mind" is to share this "saying" or "quote" or whatever you choose to call it. My grandfather keep this in his wallet until the day he died. I have done the same since the day he shared it with me over 30 years ago...

"Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words
Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviors.
Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits.
Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny"
- Gandhi ?

Mind power for me is to take the right decision for the right time and to control you feelings in front of people, i am a teacher and i have been teaching for this for a long time, these are the basic things that if any one can do this he can handle every thing and for me he is the best person.
