No necessarily a blog (but it does have articles/blogs of users) is allrecipes.com

I use them for finding recipes (always pick ones reviewed by 100+ people and read them to know how to alter the recipe to make it better.

I found smitten kitchen to be helpful and easy to follow. Great recipes too. I also like Simply Recipes.
