Ok, email done, that wasn't hard, I'm so good a procrastinator though, not good!

One thing to do before I go to bed: E-mail my editing group. They're going to shoot me. I completely forgot to do that over break.

EDIT: Aaaand, done. You know, I've had to do that for days and it was like a three sentence e-mail. Huh.

Cool What have I been putting off?

  • I have to do my studying for a class that begins next week.
  • I have to put together a program for my church - this is a big program and I have to work out how I want it to go, as well as what will be needed and who I can recruit. Working from the very beginnings. I have been ignoring this for 3 months and all it does is eat away at my mind.
  • I have been working on the clutter that accumulated during the previous semester. I got it cut down quite a bit, but seem to be at the stage of merely piling it up and moving it around. It's time I actually finished the project.

So, for today, I will find the readings I need to do, I will pull out my preliminary notes for the church program, and move the pile of clutter from the living room to the kitchen - yes, still moving it around, but it's getting there. Can't figure out a home for some of this junk. Perhaps the trash can!

I need to finally finish writing my Arabic notes into my new notebook so I'm ready for class next week. I also would like to sort through magazines, and select a new 2008 planner. All in all, they're not hard tasks - just mindless ones that are time-consuming.

Yesterday I told myself that when I come back from work, I'll sweep the floor. But of course by the time I got back, sweeping was the LAST thing on my mind.

So this morning I told myself again that I'll sweep the floors when I get back... but this time I took the broom out of the closet, and placed it right in front of the door so it's the first thing I see when I step in.

I get back from a decent day, open the door and say to myself, "awwww crap!"

The floors are now spotless by the way

The only thing I have been putting off is my website because I do not have time. I've also been putting off editting my resume.

Its all because I am doing this stupid history course! I am slightly putting off studying for that right now.

Talking

I have two things to do at work that I have been pushing back to do smaller tasks that are easier to complete. Today I will do those two things and feel better with myself. And the best part is.....it won't even be as bad as I imagine in my mind.

well, not today but tomorrow (it's midnight already...) I will find time to think. Just that. Have been delaying it for 10 days for one reason or another, should not wait more!
