I love Deathcab, but never thought of them as adrenalin-inducing. (though I Will Follow You Into the Dark does bring tears to my eyes)

Here's my list (no laughing please):
  • Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)
  • Lose Yourself (Eminem)
  • Kyprtonite (3 Doors Down)
  • 100 Years (5 for Fighting)
  • Ghetto Superstar (Pras Michel feat. ODB & Mya)
  • Superman Theme (John Williams)
  • Duel of the Fates (John Williams)
  • Sons of Gondor (Howard Shore)
  • Dragonheart Theme (Randy Edelman)

I have a special playlist set aside for exercise and almost the entire thing is super lame music from TV/movie work-out montages.

"Eye of the Tiger" is a must, of course. There is also this completely ridiculous work-out song from Adult Swim's The Venture Bros. that I am unusually fond of. It's available for free on the show's website.

I really need to listen to blood pumping music when at the gym otherwise I'm not motivated. Here are some of the tunes I listen to:

Run Baby Run (Garbage) -- the chorus really motivates you to run run run
This Fire (Franz Ferdinand)
An Honest Mistake (The Bravery)
Goldeneye (Tina Turner)
Survivalism (NIN)
Rearviewmirror (Pearl Jam)
Good Fortune (PJ Harvey)
Alive & Kicking (Simple Minds)
God is a Bullet (Concrete Blonde)

For some reason, I mostly listen to R&B and hip-hop when I work out or am on the go - which isn't really what I normally listen to. I've been listening to Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" and some oldies like Sly & The Family Stone "Dance to the Music." I also like techno, electronica, and reggaeton for some variety

The soundtrack from the German movie "Run Lola Run" (aka "Lola Rennt") always works great for me. :^D You can't get it on iTunes, though, so filesharing is pretty much the only way.
