I also planning to put a cut on my expense as it has becoming quite a lot difficult to plan finance and live in the money that i earn. If i put a cut saving will also increase and which will be beneficial for future benefit. I went through your article and it is simply amazing. Thanks for sharing the article.

Default Cost cutting---my 2 cents....

Hi
Loved the article. Over the past year we have been finding lots of ways to stretch the budget since my husband has been laid off and I am now the sole breadwinner. We also do many of the same things on your list but here are a few more. We switched insurance companies and combined our homeowners and our car insurance and saved close to a $1K on our annual premiums. We rent movies from Redbox for $1 at the grocery store. We try to make one meal a week a meat free menu. We installed a woodstove to help with heating and have saved lots on our heating oil bills. We cut coupons and shop the sales at the grocery. Our grocery stores will match the competitors ads so we take advantage of that. We have one shelf set up in the basement for extra canned goods and sale items. But we also try to not fall into the trap of hoarding which is a real issue in this country. Our grocery store also offers points programs for gas station so we save money on gas by being loyal to one grocery. We are planning a yard sale in the spring and I am also geting ready to list some books on craigslist to try and get some income from books I no longer need in the house.
