Reputation: | Has anyone tried Wesabe? https://www.wesabe.com/ They're trying to bring "social" and "personal finance" together. NYT says Wesabe "looks like the social version of Quicken". Huh? I just signed up for an account. Not sure how useful it will be. Anyone like or dislike it? |

Reputation: | I tried Mint out, it had no problem syncing with my credit card account...but it insists my credit union password is wrong. I tried it a couple of times to make sure I hadn't made a typo, but no luck. |

Reputation: | I'm using Mint right now actually. There's a few problems with the labeling, but this could easily be fix as we we're allowed to rename & recategorize our options. (It labeled some stores such as anthropologie as anthropol anthro & it labels my withdrawals as transfers :/.) Other than that, I'm quite happy with it and I go on the page more often than the bank's website which I use to verify some items that are mislabeled on Mint. |

Reputation: | I tried out both Mint and Wesabe before requesting to have my accounts deleted. I had problems with Mint properly downloading my balances and keeping me updated. Also, I found the savings suggestions pointless, since I am unlikely to switch to another credit card, and I already have a high-yield savings account. Wesabe I just didn't like, and didn't find useful. I've been using Yodlee MoneyCenter for the past couple of months, and I love it. It updates accurately and quickly, and I'm able to see my credit union account, my high-yield account, my credit card, and my bills all in one shot. It also displays spending charts and takes inventory of net worth (although probably not as in-depth or as accurate as NetworthIQ). I feel really comfortable with this service. |

Reputation: | I've been using Mint for about two-ish months now, and I really like it. It's true that you input a lot of personal information into the site, and I understand peoples' discomfort with that, but the only institution (virtual or brick-and-mortar) that has endangered my info thus far in my adult life.... was a bank. LOL So, I figure that no matter how protective I try to be, it's never failsafe. Anyway... I like the features Mint offers, and I have had no problems getting it to sync with my bank accounts, savings account, credit cards, etc. I wish it had a few more options (e.g., I would love to be able to sync up my home equity line and such) but it's a relatively new service, and I'm hoping the options continue expanding. But so far, I'm a very happy Mint customer, and I too use the Mint page more than I do my bank account page. |
