Default The best investment you can make

"The best investment you can make is to save the money in the first place." - Author unknown.

It makes sense of course but mostly we save what it left over. Automatic deduction and deposit to an investment or saving plan makes it happen.

Very true. Also, creating, and living on a budget has been the key for me.

In a bear economy maybe, but if a bull market, you can "lose" money by not having money in the market.

I agree with Gtdagenda... The best investment you can make is in yourself.

Such a great quote

I agree whole heartedly with that statement. I also believe that you can "invest" by learning as much as you can about personal finance. Knowing different ways to save, make your money grow, reduce debt, and control spending are all great "investments" in ones future wealth.

That quote is a bit like Warren Buffet's advice about never losing your money.
