Reputation: | There are alot of "sub topics" beneath the surface. I always offer to help my parents and my relatives however I have learned to not "push it" It's better to "show and tell" and be available when called upon. Mike |

Reputation: | Dave Ramsey calls this the 'powdered butt' syndrome. Once someone has changed your diaper, the do not want advice from you. lol My grandparents lived with us when I was a child. I only have my children to watch grow. I do no expect my children to care for me or me to them now that they are adults. |
