There are alot of "sub topics" beneath the surface. I always offer to help my parents and my relatives however I have learned to not "push it"

It's better to "show and tell" and be available when called upon.

Dave Ramsey calls this the 'powdered butt' syndrome. Once someone has changed your diaper, the do not want advice from you. lol

My grandparents lived with us when I was a child. I only have my children to watch grow. I do no expect my children to care for me or me to them now that they are adults.

I think it's a cultural thing.

I'm afraid if I offer they won't want to hear it, but I'd help if they asked. (tips on budgeting, etc.) I don't believe in throwing money at the problem, it solves nothing.
