We're planning on putting it towards our oil bill. In the past four years our bills went from approx $1,000 to $4,000 and this money is like a God send to us right now.

Scandinavia is a beautiful area. I had the opportunity to visit Norway and Sweden a few years ago, and would love to go back. It's not a super common vacation destination, but it's definitely worth the trip.

The more I think about what I'm going to do with my $600, the more excited I get for it. I'm working on building up a buffer in YNAB, and that $600 will take me over the top (I didn't want to go into my savings accounts to complete the buffer - I thought forcing myself to tighten my spending as much as I could for a few months was a good experiment).

So technically, it's just going to get thrown in with the rest of my monthly spending money and be spent on things like bills and groceries. Nothing exciting.

When I get my money, I'm going on a vacation. Might as well go have some fun on some free money.

Default Givin' It Back to Feds

Passport renewal fees and new passport fees for our three boys----That's how we'll spend our money.
We would like to take our sons to Italy when they are older, so it would be a good way for them to start imagining the process of traveling abroad.

Personally, I think the so-called "stimulus" package is only going to do more damage to our economy. That said, I've never said "no" to free money, so I'll gladly accept my check. Instead of using the money to "stimulate" our economy (somehow, this word sounds inherently dirty haha), though, I'll just put it into my high-yield savings account.

This check will knock another 3 months of payments on my truck loan off, so mine is going to debt reduction.

We're not sure what we are going to do with ours. We will probably put it on stuff that needs to be done around the house. We've got some repairs that need to be handled that are beyond our skill level.
