| Member | It depends on how urgently you need the money. It's like the difference between being paid per post or building up your own website and sealing your own income streams, business relations, etc. With the former, you write once, and are paid once. With the latter, you write once, and can be paid several times for it. This is nothing against freelancing, and it will probably bring you money faster than writing on your own blog, putting up AdSense, promoting it tirelessly, etc. If you need the money now, you need it now, not a year from now. I'd just think a little about which situation you're in. If you don't really need the money right this second, it's probably better in the long run to build a business.
