Reputation: | News coverage today says that the IRS will start direct depositing the tax rebate checks on Monday, and checks will start mailing on May 9. But the story says the rebates range from $300-$1200. As I understand it, it is $600 per person, and an additional $300 per child. I have 7 dependent children, and we are married filing jointly. Can I expect $3300? $1200? Is there a maximum amount to be returned? Does anyone know?

Reputation: | Milehimama, I imagine that you've already figured this out, but from my calculations you should receive $3300. We have four kids so I was doing the math too! P.S. Visited your site recently and love it! |
