Wow! We must really be behind the times here. We give 50 cents per tooth. I guess in this part of the country (where minimum wage seems high), we haven't hit the tooth fairy inflation yet.

Of course, my kids still get excited for getting a penny for each weed they pull and a quarter for each full bag of leaves they rake!

I'm pretty sure when I was younger I got a fifty cent piece, which I always thought was pretty neat, if only for the novelty of the fifty cent piece.

I like the pay to pull weeds and rake idea. That will be good when the grand kids start to come along ( not for another 10 years I hope!)

Five bucks for the first tooth and then a varying amount for the rest. The first one is always the coolest!
