Reputation: | Browsing one of my favorite magazines, I found two articles on getting out of debt that I thought people here might find useful. The first gives a simple, comprehensive plan for aggressively eliminating debt. The second -- actually I hope nobody here ever has to use this one, but it's on the how tos and ramifications of declaring bankruptcy. (This article is a few years old and some rules have changed since then, but it's still a good overview for anybody in desperate circumstances.) |

Reputation: | Those are useful articles. As for the ramifications of bankruptcy, I think it helps reinforce the fact that bankruptcy should be your last option. |
