Reputation: | Hi Greenly! I didn't opt to receive the check. I linked my checking account and transferred the money into there no problem. But getting a check IS an option if you don't want to link your checking account. However, there is a $2.50 fee for going the check route. I know a few people who signed up, and their checks were just fine, but I did read on another board that some people supposedly received checks that they couldn't cash. Revolution Money Exchange does have a toll-free customer service number with live people to talk to if there are any issues. (Though you may have to wait on hold for a while.) Bluecobia: I sent you a referral link. To those that have some trepidation: I was skeptical at first too. I don't like recklessly giving out personal info. But I read about RME on walletpop.com, in the Washington Post, and several business mags. Steve Case of AOL is on the board of directors. The accounts are issued by First Bank & Trust, Brookings, SD, Member FDIC and part of the Fishback Financial Corporation. Hope that helps a bit! |
