That is hilarious.
Funny way to make $10 in 30 seconds: lessons from a con artist

Ryan shares a great trick on how to make $10 in less than 30 seconds. Amazingly, according to Ryan this works on one out of four people!
This video illustrates how easily people let greed override their better judgment.
The beauty of this scam is in its simplicity: Anyone who can do simple math should, theoretically, see right through the scam. However, many people fall for it because they are focused on getting something for nothing.
So the next time you see a deal too good to be true, think about Ryan and his incredible $40 offer.

If by hilarious you mean retarded then yes..
I don't know a single person who's pasted basic math that would fall for this. ...
Why do you think he put Quotations around the word 'Past'?
He was making his point that the other guy said it wrong...
"you still have to pay the guy his money back so you just lost 10 bucks"
Why? He DID get his money back.
... You still have to pay that person 20$ .... its not like you are paying him back 20 ... you sell him 40$of your own cash, for 30$...
of a classic "Married with Children" episode.
Marcy was next in line at a supermarket checkout line.
Al distracts her and cuts in front of her.
Marcy: (Complaining) I was the next one in line!
Al: What are you complaining about, you still are!
That's what I'll say at the end of this scam: What are you talking about? You're holding your $20 right there!
simple math might be hard get a grown up if your brain starts to hurt
victim gives you 20 to put into box
you put your 20 into box
that comes to 40
your 20 and victims 20
(are you still with me?)
victim buys the box for 30
that means you just swaped 20 for 30
it means u gave back his 20 u also gave him another 20
YOU JUST MADE 10
its easy the sounds like it might work because the idea is to confuse them like most of you seem to have gotten. So if you say it like he does borrow 20 and put your own 20 in the box theres the 40. 20 yours and 20 theirs, and then you flip it open and and they try to catch wise that its a trick so you it wouldn't matter if you had the box opened or close, in fact i bet it would work on better odds if you didn't have the box closed because people are more visual and think they are getting 40 dollars for 30
when they are buying their 20 back and your 20 for THEIR 20 PLUS 10
to give them back the $20 and see if they will buy some of this .
But check out Asimov's story about intelligence.
Haha! Even some people who have commented on this Post have fallen for the trick. Look at Comment 4,6,7,8. Learn some math Peoplez...ROFL
You still owe the person the $20 you borrowed 2 minutes previously. Anyone can borrow money and say they've made some money. Also you're forgetting one thing; you've lost a DVD case too.
