Hard Copy or Ebook? Amazon's New Service Allows You to Buy Ebook Versions of Hard Copies You Own for Cheap

Starting in October, Amazon will be offering a new feature called Matchbook that will allow you to buy ebook versions of hard copies you've purchased from them for $2,99, $1.99, $0.99, or even free! This applies to any book purchase you've ever made from them...since 1995! Over 10,000 books will be available when Matchbook launches in October, and hopefully more publishers will be signing up.

Earlier this year, Amazon announced a new service called AutoRip, which automatically offers a free MP3 album of any CD you buy from them, as well as any album you've purchased in the last 15 years. Just open the Cloud Player and it will automatically search for eligible albums and download it.
