I’m a big fan of Howcast. Their website is a treasure trove of information, and you can also find their videos on popular sites like Metacafe and YouTube. Sometimes their advice is really useful, sometimes it’s just plain weird, but it’s always very entertaining. Howcast videos also end with a handy dandy fact; the icing on the cake so to speak.

I was recently searching their wonderful site for a how-to video on hard-boiling an egg. You may scoff, but the last few times I’ve done this the shell has been glued to the egg, making it impossible to remove. I figured Howcast would have a solution, but became increasingly distracted by some of the other great videos I found.

All in all, I watched about 25 videos and have selected my ten favorites for you to check out. They run the gamut, from simple recipes for laundry detergent and butter, to more complex issues like overcoming fear. All are relatively short and are well worth a watch. Some will save you time and money. Others are just an alternative way of doing things. Enjoy.
