Meet Kelly Whalen, Our New Community Manager

Hi everyone! I'm Kelly Whalen, the new Community Manager here at Wise Bread.

I'm here to chat with you on our Twitter and Facebook channels, and I'll be hosting our weekly Tweetchat (12pm PST on Thursdays).

You may know me from my own personal finance blog, The Centsible Life, where I talk about my own family's finances. I'm no stranger to living frugally, as a stay at home mom for the last 13 years. I'm the mom of 4 kids ages 13, 8, 6, and 5.

The kids are so fun to be home with, but in order to stay home with the kids we've had to sacrifice. While those sacrifices were worth it, a few years ago it became clear our finances were going in the wrong direction, so I set out to educate myself and became so inspired I started my blog. 

Our family is still learning about personal finance, and as we continue to learn I love that I get to do it here as a part of the Wise Bread community since that's what we're all about!

I'm joining a great Wise Bread community building team, which consists of Linsey Knerl, our Senior Community Advisor, and new addition Ashley Jacobs, our Community Coordinator.
