That Batman logo has been around as long as I have... Yes, yes. I know... Dating myself. However! This necklace is stylish & not comic-book crass. If the man in my life ain't interested in wearing it, I certainly will be! It'll snap up my viewing of the movie, for certain.

Best of Wise Bread
I love Batman because he solves problems with his mind, not super human strength...he is someone we can all strive to be..and he rocks!
It doesn't matter being gay, straight, B sexual or no matter what.
Why not look as good and sexy as you can
Personally I don't stop buying at Necklaces for men
By the way gay guys usually look nicer..
Jay
The Batman necklace would go great with my Batman cape, Batman utility belt, and Batman tights...
But in all seriousness this summer is the first time I will be living on my own and this necklace would give me major props with first impressions with my new boss, coworkers, and roommates. I usually make good first impressions but this would be the icing on the cake! Plus its a startup company and we're all super hero fans ;D
How can anyone not want to emulate Batman and his lesser alter-ego, Bruce Wayne? While Bruce Wayne is the epitome of cool mixed with smart investment, Batman is the ultimate testament to self-discipline and self-confidence; two very important accessories to carry with you all Summer long.
Nothing says, "I'm a man who will turn himself into an Olympic-caliber athlete and fight crime as a result of my parents' untimely death," the way this necklace does. With any luck, I'll have all the ladies thinking, "There's one guy I trust to save me from various escaped inmates of Arkham Asylum."
My 11 year old son has been telling me for the last couple months that he wants a necklace, but not a "girly" one, this would be perfect for him!
Does it come with any other accessories from the bat belt? I guess i could probably wear it alone, but oh, those wonderful toys!
Free stuff rocks. I might even make a habit of wearing jewelry. Or more likely gift it to my nephew who has recently discovered the awesomeness of BATMAN!
I would love to win this necklace! When I was younger, I was given the nickname "Batman" due to a rebellious stunt that involved me jumping out of a school bus window.
This necklace would be great to have.
Gr8 necklaces you have here, I myself when I'm looking for a really nice necklace for men I just surf to this store which has all of the necklace types a man would wish for himself:

Quite simply, it looks like it would perfectly cover up my embarrassing batman birthmark on the front of my neck.
I'd love to win this necklace to give to my friend who will be in France when the next movie is released. He's the biggest Batman fan I've met. One summer, a group of us would get together at his place once a week to have a Batman marathon.
We'd start with a cartoon, watch at least one episode of the 1940s series, and then watch 2 episodes from the late 1960s. He, of course, owns all things associated with Batman. How's that for obsessed?
Dear Alfred,
Would you please see that my new Batman necklace is polished up for the debut of my new movie ?
Thanks old chum.
If i am going to wear anything jewelry related it will be something Batman. Bat-(Bling)(pow)(zap)(smack)(kick)
Secretly, I am Batman. Having that necklace would allow me to show off my sleek Batman logo at work. Unsuspecting people would think, "hey, cool necklace" or "you nerd". I would be thinking, "I am going to fight crime tonight."
My husband would love this. He collected Batman comics as a teenager for years, and still has a large part of the collection. His office has a Batman poster in it. He even refers to Batman in many of his online user names.
He completely deserves this necklace. Recently, I left my job to pursue my dream of becoming a professional writer. Now we are completely dependent upon his salary. During this process, he has been nothing but supportive and frequently tells me that he believes in me.
Plus he cooks. (His shrimp fettuccine alfredo rocks.) He's my hero, and I would love to be able to give this to him as a thank-you.
Ok so I admit I missed father's day for the hubby. I think I had an excuse our son was born the day after. So this necklace would be an awesome gift for him to wear when I give him a night to himself to go see the new movie in theaters.
WOULD love to win this necklace. wearing it would attract people to me and be a good conversation starter. thanks
Perfect gift for the upcoming birthday of my comic book theme crazy fiance! This necklace combined with some saddle bags for his motorcycle would make him one lucky boy.
I recently began wearing one of my late wife's shell necklaces, to keep her close to me.
at halloween, she became batwoman...always wore bat earrings, bat pins, bat necklaces...if I win, I will be her batman
thank you for the consideration
Kind regards
My husband and i were always pretty stylish, but I had to quit my job after our daughter was born, and he had to pick up an extra one. now we are beyond shabby chic. we're just shabby! I'd love to win this for my hubby; put a little polish back on the old ball and chain!
So I can pawn it for some much needed cash. Seriously, advertising for a movie with my jewelry? What's next, a contest where Pepsi will give me $500 to brand their logo onto my forehead?
But still, I would like to have the necklace.
My 12yo son is obsessed with super-heroes. He's spent the first part of the summer creating his own super-hero (looks like a hawk/bat cross). He's also an encylopedia buff and reads through the DC Comic Book Encyclopedia daily...Batman is a long time favorite. This necklace would bring a big grin to his face:-)
Ok, no I'm not. I never do. And I've come up with some good contest entry comments, darnit!
But here's my latest.
It would be cool to win, cause it would be cool to win!
Of course, it would be for my Husband, who would think he was cool with this expensive necklace on.
And that about does it!
Thanks for the chance!
Good luck to everyone!
I was thinking of some guy over in Afganistan needing this. He's your husband/brother/friend or neighbor. He's army/navy/air force or Marine. Not alot of hot home cooked meals lately, nor a coolor hot shower, not even a real bed to flop down on.No complaints he chose this.He will do his best evry day even though it is the hardest and pay is poor. They did however extend his tour and he is working without all the tools he needs.None of us needs this but it might make someones day that makes it so we are free! Just a thought
He's been going crazy waiting for The Dark Knight to be released. He's a huge comic book (especially Batman) fan. (OK, I admit I kinda like 'em too.) This would make a perfect birthday gift for him!
I've always been a fan of silver man-necklaces, and it'd look smashing as I start my first year of graduate school. We grad students are poor ya know!
I am a geek at heart and have been a huge Batman fan for years. I did a thesis on the viability of a real Batman figure in society for a law class.
My finacee has not found any type of necklace that she thinks looks good on me, but I really enjoy a little bling around my neck. She LOVES Batman and with the upcoming movie, I think she will agree to me wearing this, especially to the opening that we are going to.
Please help me find a way to make geek chic! It's a beautiful piece and I would be proud to wear it. I think I will have to let more people know about Wisebread, too. I didn't know you did contests!
Jordan
Not only is batman an approved word in scrabble, but the necklace would also give me something to show other for my student loan. Other than the boxes of comics I mean. It's been almost 10 years.
If I win forget all the boys - I'm keeping it for myself. I may loan it out to one of the three males running around in my home.
Well NOW when some smart woman in the bar says ---"who do you think you are, BatMan?"---i can just show her my necklace.......
As a D.C. resident who has long been anticipating the release of "the Dark Knight," I would be so grateful for the necklace that I would actually wear it to the United States Senate, my place of employment, on the day that the film is released!
I appreciate your company's generosity, so thanks even if I don't get the necklace!
- David
I have a 7 year old cousin who absolutely ADORES batman. If I was given this it would go to him and make his year.
Read the fine print. The necklace is multi-functional, able to illuminate the sky with the batman sign, wirelessly unlock the batmobile, and unleash a batarang on insane villains. Could come in handy.
Us wisebread readers are so frugal, we need promotions to bling out!
This looks like a cool deal! Thanks for the Batman offer. If I won this necklace I could wear this cool necklace to work! :)
For the last few years I've been in the process of re-inventing myself both personally and professionally. Starting from scratch, basically. During this time I have shepherded my youngest son (21) through a number of crises. My oldest son (26), an Afghan vet and father of two recently had his marriage fall apart and he moved in with me and started a new job. I love my boys like nothing else so I didn't think twice about doing what was needed to help them. Through this they have expressed their gratitude and even called me a hero in their eyes. This always chokes me up because I love them and feel more like a failure than a hero. I have so little to offer them. This sounds kind of cheesy but seeing this necklace on myself in the mirror would remind me that a person can be a hero without everyone knowing about it and would help me rebuild my self image.
My 4 yr old adores batman and I can only imagine his reaction if he sees a batman bling hanging on my neck. He would certainly consider me a hero just like his idol!
Like other fans, I'm still mourning the loss of Heath Ledger, for whom, "The Dark Knight" is a fitting cap in his wonderful career. Seeing this necklace can help others remember the achievements of this remarkable man who touched a generation through his gifts.
One of the guys I work with, Mike, is totally into Batman, and he also wears (and looks great in!) necklaces.
Mike and I work in the marketing department of a humane society animal shelter in Arizona. He's a hard worker and a guy who really cares about the animals. We've had a very tough few months and he's been feeling down a lot. I think this Batman necklace would really cheer him up.
He's got Batman posters and all kinds of Batman stuff in his office; he wears Batman t-shirts. A Batman necklace would be perfect for him.
Thanks for considering this!
I am in the process of turning my life around (from a variety of previous bad choices and decisions on my own part) and have always had a thing for the dark knight.
Batman is the only super hero who relies, not on brute strength or magical powers, but on his strength of mind and character. He is industrious, insightful and selfless; things I believe we should all strive for in our lives.
I look up to him, not in hero worship, but in the respect that he is a real-man's hero, not something so hugely unattainable in everyday life. I have a batman tattoo, similar to the design of this necklace, to remind me everyday to strive to be a hero in my own life.
I would love to have this necklace as a symbol of my desire to change my life, as well as a compliment to my already existing Batman paraphernalia. I would genuinely appreciate more than I believe others, who simply want it as a pretty, shiny thing, would.
Thank you
My hubs totally loves batman and this would be so great if I won!! I'd love to gift it to him! Thanks!
Only a multi-millionaire like Bruce Wayne could have all the cool technology that makes Batman possible, and Batman is the only superhero with no super powers, just completely human. With this necklace, I'll be inspired to be the best I can be, and stand for what I know is right. Doing that here in America, I might just get to be rich like Bruce Wayne.
My husband has owned a game shop for kids for years. During this last year tho, he feels the kids are thinking he is an old guy (he is a young 59) so this necklace would help him get his groove on this summer with the kids. Thanks
A few weeks ago I turned 43 and just graduated with my MBA. I've been reading Wisebread's frugal living and personal finance material for a while now. It has greatly helped me in so many ways that I'm feeling a bit like a super hero to my own life (THANK YOU). I'm now now in charge of my personal finance/goals, and achieving a debt free life. This super hero inspired necklace will be the perfect compliment in helping me get my NEW groove on this summer season.
Thank you WISEBREAD and all those who contribute, your input has helped me greatly!
Eric
I have been changing my lifestyle and attitude over the past year. The two biggest projects I had going was my health, my career, and marrying the woman of my dreams.
I decided a year ago that it was time to get in shape. I have lost over 60 pounds so far. I have a long way to go, ( I was over 250 pounds), but I am working on it every day.
I also started working for a government agency that allows me a certain sense of satisfaction in my career. I had a string of VERY bad jobs. I finally have a job that allows me to give back to people. It is VERY satisfying to want to go to work every morning and make a difference in the world.
Also, over two years ago I met the woman of my dreams. She was perfect for me!! We married this year!!
It has been my year all around!!
I tell you all this stuff, because oddly enough, one of my role models for all this change was the character of Batman. I am a huge Batman fan. He has no super powers. He achieved everything he is through his own will power and perseverance . He pushed himself to limits no one else could. He represents all a person can be. That is what is driving me. To be the best I can be. Wearing a necklace like this one will be a constant reminder to push forward, persevere, and be the best I can be.
I just got married this past Memorial Day (May 26) to the love of my life and would love to surprise her with this wonderful necklace.
i'm taking my guy out to the premiere for his birthday (because we're both über dark knight geeks~ we both have vivid memories of watching the first dark knight in theatres when we were kids... in fact it was the only movie i saw that whole summer) and yet, i haven't found a present that he can take home and remember the day by.
and i'm more than happy to help him get his groove on ;)
I wold love to have this necklace. I have loved Batman for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted a bat mobile but hey the necklace would be a great start. I love batman because he is dark and mysterious yet disciplined and percise. Like me, he doesn't have all the answers but he sure tries to make a difference. Thanks Wise bread, -TANK-
my boyfriend is starting grad school in the fall, and this will be his last chance for a free summer...to live like a superhero before student life hits him. this would serve as a nice reminder the other life he had before he surrenders it to the world of research and free meals.
Middle aged, overweight, out of shape (unless you consider "round jello" a shape) and still I lust after the things of my childhood--grass between my toes, the wind whistling by my ears, and my long-lost Batman lunch box.
Those were the days. Summer used to last forever (hell Summer was different from the rest of the year because there was no school, and now it's just the same as the rest of the year, only brighter and warmer).
Oh well.. I guess I'd settle for the necklace. I guess...
Does this have to be for a guy? Looks like what I, a girl fan of Batman from back when I read the comics at the "Sweet Shop"would also wear! Hoorah for Unisex!
Looks s-wave - & I will let my husband wear it anytime he wants!
I just moved to LA and I think this necklace will give me the cajones I need to start kicking ass in the city! Won't you be so kind as to help me pimp out my neck and therefore get my groove on. Plus maybe it will shine really bright at the cars ahead of me and I won't have to deal with traffic...
I am 12 and if I had that necklace I'm positive I wouldn't be made fun of on my first day of middle school and that would make the year go much easier for me than it normally does. Thank you for your consideration.
My superhero boyfriend is always complaining that he never gets anything cool. So maybe this would shut him up. lol. Thanks so much for the opportunity.
My friend Steven has a minor obsession with Batman. Aside from the various pieces of Batman clothing (including ties that he wears to work at the US Attorney's office), he has a stuffed Batman bear and many other comic-related items scattered around his place. He has written a television show based on Batman called Darker Knights that he's shopping around to see if anyone is interested in producing it (by the way, if you guys know anyone at Warner Brothers, let me know). This would be the most incredible gift for him.
Thanks!
I'm currently home having some surgery done. After that I'll be headed back to Tacoma to complete my two year proselyting mission. I've been a fan of Batman since I was little; while in grade school when some teachers asked if I had a preferred name I would tell them "Bruce" and on multiple occasions I have set my facebook status to "Dan is batman."
I am Batman.
My husband would be thrilled to receive this gift. The only piece of *bling* that he wears is his wedding band. This would add some cha-cha-ching to his life and I'd be earning some major brownie points! :)
My husband would love this necklace. He's been wearing an old worn out "gold" necklace with a crucifix that looks like he got it in the 70's when men wore their shirts unbuttoned to the navel with layers of big gold chains. Ugh! Help me update his look this summer with this beautiful new batman inspired neckchain.
Cool...
I live in San Francisco, the home of super obsessed fanboys. I'm tired of going to big movie premieres and watching them get all the fame and glory because they have costumes and props. I have no costumes or props. I'm just a girl who loves good superhero movies, and this necklace will help me make an elegant statement that I am a true fan. After I have had my shining moment, I will pass the necklace on to my teenage brother, who will probably wear it into his twilight years.
I work for an auto parts retail store and see alot of men wearing Batman accessories like belt buckles, rings, T-shirts,wallets, and even boxers. I like the necklace and think it would be a good conversation piece to show off at work and I may finally be accepted into the leauge of THE BATMEN!
I would love to have this necklace for my husband. This would perfectly express my appreciation of his unwavering patience. I have sustained a back injury, awaiting surgery (documentation can be provided if necessary), and he has been my hero. Without question he has taken over the "domestic" duties... everything meals, laundry, etc., while still traveling 50miles a day to work and twice a week in the evening to his second job just to make sure I am taken care of. After 32 years of marriage (yes, I am dating myself), this would be a great gift... an expression of my appreciation, show him that he is my hero. He is hoping I will be able/well enough, able to ambulate and tolerate the 2 +/- hours (including travel time)of sitting to see the new movie coming out soon.
Not looking for sympathy or pity, just something tangible to express my appreciation.
Riddle me this:
Who's been watching Batman in movies and TV, since age three?
Holy Fanatic, Batman, it's me!
Who has "Batman" in their email address and ebay user ID?
Holy URL, Batman, it's me!
Who fills their cave with Batman toys and stuff, with great reverie?
Holy Collector, Batman, it's me!
Who has a secret alter-ego, BatPam, a superhero wannabe?
Holy Schizo, Batman, it's me!
Who have Catwoman, Penguin, Mr. Freeze all voted the winner to be?
Holy Villains, Batman, it's me!
I'm no Joker. That pendant, like the Batarang, should come to me!
After 10 years of marriage, my wife still thinks I'm a superhero. Considering that I am an under-employed aspiring novelist, her perspective is undoubtedly rooted in a blinding love! Who am I to disturb such a gift?
Batman is a true superhero in every sense of the word. What is a superhero? It's a person who preforms multiple heroic acts and asks for nothing in return. He does not have all these crazy super "powers" to help him fights Gotham's enemies. He just has his skills and his gadgets, which he invents mind you, to fight a hoard of clinically insane people. Which is why I would proudly wear and display this necklace which represents honor, duty, and sacrifice to a people that hardly appreciate him.
Batman Forever
I have nothing else to say, I was going to attempt to win the necklace, but Pam wins with her little riddle, or rhyme, whatever it is....hands down!!
I have been a huge batman fan ever since I was young, and I never really had anything fancy to showoff. I believe this necklace would be pretty fancy, and it would be pretty cool to finally brag about having something so special, unique and so batman in front of all my friends.
This necklace would make any fan of the Batman go ga-ga! My son would absolutely don this necklace everywhere he went. He is a stellar fan of Batman and for some reason really enjoys wearing all sorts of unique necklaces. I call it a collection really. His favorite is a shark's tooth he found on the beach and had strung with beads, but I have a feeling if he were to get his hands on this particular necklace by Nomination it would become his numero uno very quickly.
When i was little I used to say i was married to superman! Then when i went through my super feminist phase at the age of 12 (lilith fair time) I used to say I was Ms. Superwomyn! I think i can now prove to everyone that I'm just a really big superman, sorry i mean superperson, fan with this rocking necklace!!! And plus if i do ever find my superman I'll give it to him. It'll also match my superman ring!
AWESOME!!
CHANDINI
p.s if its for the bat one, I could always wear it to make superman jealous so he is a better husbands.
Wow! I think this was my favorite batch of comments ever. Thanks so much to everybody for participating. These were some really creative and inspirational comments. We are in the process of contacting the randomly selected winner (#62). Thanks so much again, everybody. I always love reading these.
This is something pretty cool! My son is off in another city living on his own for the first time. He has felt a little "displaced" & a surprise like this would really give him a lift. Pick me! :)
Fancy looking design for a necklace. Very very manly indeed, with the way it appears to be streamlined.
