The Capital One® Premier Dining Rewards Credit Card is a card that provides the "no hassle" rewards that Capital One is known for, especially if your spending falls into the restaurant and dining out categories. In fact, the newest addition to the Capital One line of rewards cards offers one of the highest cash back rates on these types of purchases. If you frequently spend in these categories, this is one rewards card you want to be sure is in your wallet. (See also: Best Credit Cards for Dining Out)

Why We Like This Card

  • $100 one-time cash bonus offer

How This Card Works

This card awards unlimited 3% cash back on dining, 2% on groceries, and 1% on all other purchases. (See also: Best Credit Cards for Groceries)

Costs

  • $0 Annual Fee
  • 15.49% - 24.49% Variable APR
  • $0 Foreign Transaction Fee
  • Considerations

Primarily for dining out. You earn the most cash back when you dine out, which won’t be much if this is an expense you have just a few times per year. If your spending is more likely to fall into other categories like gas or airfare, you will earn more cash back with cards that focus on those categories or with flat rate rewards cards that award a higher rate for all purchases. (See also: Best Credit Cards that Offer Flat Rate Rewards for All Spending)

Who This Card Is Best For

This card is best for those whose spending is primarily dining out in restaurants and groceries. Unlike other cards that award these types of purchases, this card has no cap or limit on the amount of cash back you can earn. Also, because there is no foreign transaction fee, it’s a great card to use if you frequently travel abroad or need to make foreign purchases. It also comes with a number of extra benefits and perks that make traveling and shopping more comfortable.
