Save Big at L.L. Bean Every Thursday!
OK, this is HUGE news! Coming from Maine, I’ve always been an L.L. Bean fan. They make great stuff, have a fabulous return policy, and if you can manage to get to Freeport where the regular catalog store is, they also have a factory rejects outlet just a street or two away. And while I’m always on the look-out for super deals, free shipping and online sales, this little bit of information I just got today beats every frugal L.L. Bean shopping tip I’ve ever heard. And you can put it to use every Thursday until further notice.
Here’s what you do. Go to the L.L. Bean home page. On the left hand side of the page, go to the More Ways to Shop heading and click on the word sale. When that page comes up, look towards the center of the lower half of the page where it says “Limited Time Savings”. That’s where you’ll see a link called “Thursday Morning Markdown”.
This is where, until further notice, L.L. Bean will pick one sale item every Thursday morning and mark it down to an insanely cheap price. The friend and colleague that just turned me on to this opportunity recently got a classically styled, wool blend coat valued at around $150.00 for under forty bucks. Yes, you read that right. Under forty bucks! Wa. Hoo.
Quantities on each Thursday’s sale item are limited and the price only lasts until supplies run out, or Thursday night at midnight, whichever comes first. And the item is different every time. However, with deals this great, it is totally worth making the effort to check out. Being a Mainer, I stop by this store every chance I get when I happen to be driving by. I’m here to tell you, this company sells some pretty incredible stuff and stands by their merchandise more than any other company I’ve ever seen. Hands down.
So, if you want to save money on high quality items, cruise on over to their web site this Thursday (and every other Thursday until further notice from L.L. Bean) and check out the weekly markdown item. From what I just learned, it sounds like it’s definitely worth the trip!
